Gregory Foo pulled away from his nearest challenger with a closing 4-under par back nine in the final round to hoist the 2025 edition of the Singapore PGA’s President Cup with a tournament total of 10-under par, successfully defending the title he won in 2024.
Following solid opening rounds of 69 and 68, Foo entered the 3rd and final round of competition with a comfortable 5-shot lead over fellow Singaporean Marc Ong. The lead was quickly cut down to just 2-shots after the opening 3 holes when Ong collected 2 early birdies and appeared to be on yet another charge at Warren Golf & Country Club where he is no stranger to collecting trophies. Ong rolled in another 2 birdies at the 6th and 10th holes to keep the pressure on Foo in what became a two horse race to the finish line. The final 6 holes then saw Foo play some outstanding golf, reeling off 3 consecutive birdies starting from the 13th and then another birdie at the par four 17th hole to take control of the tournament. A par on the final hole gave Foo a closing round of 5-under par 66 for an impressive 7-shot margin of victory over Marc Ong.

In the Senior Division it was Zaw Moe who claimed a 5-stroke victory over Poh Eng Wah with a tournament total of 8-under par following rounds of 71, 65 and 69. Moe’s impressive bogey-free 2nd round 65 was the lowest of the tournament.
The Singapore PGA would like to thank Warren Golf & Country Club and all our sponsors for their support in helping to make this event a success.
